I don’t even… ._. I said, no more Amnesia fanart this month. But, I couldn’t… I HAVE A MIGHTY NEED (insert the pic here)

…to draw Daniel.

Just relax, and look at dat manly back. Also, what the hell, my dagger is long enough to be a shortword. *facepalm* I dunno how to draw weapons. ಠ益ಠ

BEHOLD, my number #1 favorite scene from the game! "Paint the man, cut the lines. PAINT THE MAN, CUT THE LINES!" :iconnosebleedingplz: Also, I've watched a playthrough russian version of the game, and, even if you don't understand russian, I strongly recommend watching the above scene. You'll be impressed on how PSYCHO (true, true!) Daniel sounds. But, expetdely, they removed the famous 'Nyan' sound from the original. xD

PS: There is a lot of ‘paint the man’ pictures here and dA, but a lot of people forget that Daniel painted the man before cutting. Hence the dripping green paint. <3

Huh, this piece wasn't in my favorites before? o_ó Well, fixed that...
Gosh, I'm in love with the English audio, but I must admit that the Russian one is creepy as hell too! The English one has a certain disparaging(?), mocking tone to it, whereas the Russian one feels more... dark and kind of definite? Both of them are very intense and intimidating in their own ways. eue;; I'm always so glad when the voice acting works. ♥

Haha, funnily enough the Russian localization includes two different voices for Daniel you can choose in the options. They're very cleverly labeled 'evil' (determined, a little bit deranged, which is evident in the Wheel dialogue, where he sounds like a complete psycho, whereas in the original audio Daniel's more confused/sympathetic to the victim) and 'good' (softer, sane-r). xD I haven't heard the 'good' version of PMCL, because no one seems to pick the 'good' voiceover, lol.

Fascinating! What, I'd definitely give the 'good' version a try! :noes: That would be a great reason to play the game twice in a row, hmmm... Ooh, and that would mean twice the flashback audio... Twice the diary entries... Twice the ear candy....~ ęuę

:XD: I would go through it, if I didn't prefer the original English audio above everything else. I have English PMCL as a 6.30am alarm clock tone for a *reason* (last time I nearly had a heart attack - for the first 5 seconds, I thought, I was the ritual victim, ha, greeeeat) For the exact reason I have all of the flashback/diary audio in my phone. :)

Disregard that I'm currently hunting down for other audio of Daniel's VA for my CS. uwu

:XD: Jesus, wonder if that worked on me too? I'm completely hopeless what it comes to getting up in the morning, sometimes I can peacefully sleep through a total of 6 or even more alarms... and the society doesn't understand my problem at all... :iconcryforeverplz:

and yeah, i might have downloaded all of the amnesia audios i've been able to find to my mp3, ehehe... :iconotlplz:

Oh my lord, the Russian audio for that scene....Actually gave me chills.

(Although, I must admit, I do like the mocking "nyeh nyeh nyeeeeh" in the English version. XD)

Yeah, I was a little disappointed that they removed it from the localization, but, imo, the overall voicing is very... sinister. :heart:
